A historic event in the DFW area: record set for the most snowfall ever on a single day! Here, we saw a total of 10-12". Some areas got 16". Now to watch it start to melt. And stitch.

- I am a "Girl of the South"...raised in Tennessee and now living in Dallas by way of Florida. Along the way, nothing has changed my love of cross stitch! I adore putting needle to thread to create my own little works of art! My favorite are samplers, and I love using hand-dyed fabrics and overdyed threads! I have a son in the Air Force. My wonderful husband and I are happy to be owned by two beautiful Pembroke Welsh Corgis: Hales Blaze of Glory (Blaze for short) and Spurs Lil' 6 Carat Diamond (we call her Diamond...or Littles when she's being REALLY cute!). Of late, cross stitch has taken a bit of a backseat to "real life", but I am thrilled to make winter my Seaon of Stitching this year!
